Admission procedure

Our admission policy aims to provide fair and equal access to education for everyone who has the potential to benefit from it. At the RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University our endeavor will be to welcome and encourage a diverse mix of student population.
 

After the screening of your application form, you will receive an email informing whether or not you have been short listed for admission. It takes 5-7 days for the application to be processed.

The following admission procedure would apply:
  • BBA
    • DIRECT ADMISSION PROCESS - Student securing 80%+ aggregate in Class XII (CBSE/ISC of 2015/2016) are exempted from statement of purpose and personal interview in the admission process. Selection will be only on the basis of Amity application form.
    • You will be required to submit your 10th class mark sheet along with the application form.
    • You can apply provisionally to go through the admission process while you await the 10+2 results, post which you will be required to submit them.
    • You will also be required to write a 'statement of purpose' and appear for a 'personal interview' conducted by a panel of experts in education and built environment.
  • MBA
    • You will be required to submit your 10th and 12th class mark sheet along with the application form.
    • You will be required to sit for the qualifying written exam, which will be held at the Amity University, Noida Campus.
    • Along with appearing for the qualifying written exam or group discussion, you will also be  required to apear for 'English language test' and 'personal interview' conducted by a panel of experts. This is applicable for even those students who have an eligible CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT score.
    • Students will have various options of dates for the exam/GD/PI, giving the flexibility to choose the dates that suit you through the admissions micro site.

Admission offer

  • The result of the admission process (qualifying written exam, interview etc.) will be intimated to you by email. The result status will also be available online through the admissions micro site.
  • All selected candidates will receive an 'admission letter' in hard copy and by email. Details regarding fee payment, allotment of hostel (if applicable), date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be mentioned in the admission letter. This letter will also be available online for download .
  • Failure to pay the fee or report to classes after payment of fee within the specified date will entail cancellation of admission.
