Inspired by watching Mega-structures on NatGeo during childhood, I took up Civil Engineering as a career to become part of mega-project & contribute in the Built Environment Sector. I won 2 prestigious Gold Medals at the hands of Hon. Governor of Maharashtra for being the topper in B.E. Civil at University of Mumbai.

Any advice to students considering joining RICS SBE?
RICS is a 150-year-old globally renowned professional body. RICS SBE is the best choice for students after Engineering to catapult themselves into techno-managerial roles with the best companies in the industry. The courses are designed to suit industry needs & provides a great platform to hone your technical skills and extra-curricular activities.

How did the MBA program at RICS SBE help you?
The MBA CPM program which is PMI & RICS accredited offers courses which are highly relevant to the industry requirements like Pre-construction planning, Cost management & control, Services engineering, Contracts management etc. helps build competency & gives confidence when working on actual projects.

How was life at RICS SBE? (Campus, faculty, activities, events)
Life at RICS SBE was one of the most memorable phases of my life as it gave a plethora of opportunities to grow & learn. As the Founder President of Debating Society & Chief Editor of Construction Times, I enjoyed hosting several events at SBE. I also extensively participated in various National Level Quiz, Debate, Technical poster etc. competitions & won laurels for the school. All faculties were highly supportive & always motivated me to achieve more.

Share experiences from work life.
It is indeed a great opportunity to work with India's 2nd largest contracting firm which is highly technology & process-driven and gives ample opportunities to grow & learn. As a Planning manager, I could successfully implement my learnings at SBE to manage large projects. I was also selected for the prestigious ALDEP Program & got the opportunity to learn from Industry experts, veteran academicians & professors at IIT-Delhi. SPCPL focuses on hiring young talent & grooming them to become leaders of tomorrow.

What was your experience while studying at RICS SBE?
Having a year of industry experience helped me grasp things easily & with the help of expert faculties who are having rich industry experiences, the learning becomes highly interesting. The campus is equipped with State-of-the-art facilities.

What were you doing before coming to RICS SBE?
I was working as a Structural Design Engineer with a Swiss-based EPC MNC Firm in Mumbai

Where did you get placed?
I was placed with Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd. in Engineering & construction division.

Where did you intern? How did the internship help you?
I bagged the opportunity to intern with India's Largest PMC- Tata Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. The internship helped bridge the gap between Theory & Practice and gained critical exposure to all on-field Project management using BIM technique.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Currently, I am enrolled in RICS APC & wish to achieve MRICS & PMP certifications. Also, look forward to becoming a successful project manager & delivering major projects to the Client's satisfaction.
