The School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] with the School of Business, University of San Diego [USD] to enhance relations between the two schools and to develop academic and cultural interchange in the areas of education, research and other activities.
As part of this collaboration, RICS SBE has partnered with the University of San Diego for a five week International Certificate in Real Estate Investment & Management during summer, starting June 2017.
Dr. Vivek Sah from University of San Diego, Burnham-Moores Centre for Real Estate, visited the School from 4 to 6 October 2016 where he interacted with students for the proposed International Certificate Program in June 2017. Dr. Sah met faculty and the leadership team at the School to screen opportunities emerging from this tie-up between the two schools.
University of San Diego, through the Ahlers Center for International Business and the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, will host groups of RICS-SBE students for a summer program, starting in 2017. The program will include housing on campus, faculty and professional lectures, company visits and local activities with a goal to increase cross-cultural understanding and improve business practices for all participants. Both universities desire to discover additional collaborative interactions, organize joint research programs and other academic activities.
The intent is to extend, deepen and develop mutually beneficial educational programs.
