International Facility Management Association

The International Facility Management Association is a professional membership association which exists to guide and develop facility management professionals by providing services, products, resources and opportunities.

We offer an incomparable specialized program in FM which is aligned to both IFMA and RICS competencies. Globally IFMA and RICS have joined hands to work for this sector and its professionals. The School has also established a student chapter under IFMA which facilitates the growth of our students in alignment with global practices.

RICS & IFMA collaboration – unlocking career prospects in Facilities Management

Globally RICS has joined hands with International Facility Management Association IFMA in a bid to transform the facility management (FM) industry in 2016. Together, IFMA and RICS are defining and standardizing credentials, practice standards and professional development for the industry, uniting the global FM community to increase consistency and unification of strategy across the life cycle of the built environment.

IFMA Student Chapter

Under the RICS SBE-IFMA partnership, an IFMA Student Chapter is also formed. Facilities Management and Corporate Real Estate Management being a key component of the curriculum in School of Real Estate, IFMA Student Chapter was established to act as a local source of facility management education, information and interaction, bringing the association’s vast resources directly to the students.

Our specialized program in Facilities Management

We offer Post Graduate Diploma in Facilities Management which is aligned to both IFMA and RICS competencies. While this program is focused entirely on Facilities Management, FM as a subject is also taught in detail in our BBA REUI and MBA REUI programs of School of Real Estate.
