Dr. Deva Dubey FRICS brings varied experience in finance relating to various types of projects, including real estate and infrastructure projects, both in India and in the Middle East. He has been associated with large residential projects and office complexes in the Middle East in addition to handling other projects. He also brings experience of working with Big Four consulting firms. He also brings experience of teaching MBA students a wide range of subjects in Finance domain in a leading business school.

He holds a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, followed by MBA in International Management from Japan and a PhD degree.

Deva worked on the shop floor in early career manufacturing motor cycles for Yamaha and then moved into a national level development financing institution where he had an opportunity of handling multiple tasks relating to the lending business. He has been team member for appraisal of some first generation infrastructure projects post liberalisation. He has also been associated with setting up of a rating agency in India and in creating financial products. He was associated with handling IPO of a company and private placement of shares of a few companies in mining sector in the Middle East. He was responsible for setting up the Project and Infrastructure Advisory line of business of a big four firm in the Middle East region. He has structured large projects in the Middle East and also worked with leading regional banks for facilitating borrowing for the projects. He also brings experience of teaching subjects in Finance to a leading B-School in Mumbai.

Research Interests:

Has research interests in bank lending, non-performing assets, residential housing pricing, Real Estate Regulations, performance of corporates in Real Estate sector, Corporate Governance and the like.

Deva is a Fellow of RICS and has been participating in Management Development Programs and is an authorised assessor for Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) for new candidates attempting for MRICS.
