Mihir Murari Ayyanchira

Mihir Ayyanchira has varied industrial experience of 5 years in residential and infrastructure projects and joined the academics from 2016. He started his career as a Jr. Site Engineer at site to Planning In-charge in Indian MNC. He has good exposure in execution and scheduling of muliti-crore projects viz. railway projects and township projects. He has worked in different regions of India such as Goa, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

He has completed his Masters in Construction Management from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut in 2014. He pursued his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Prior joining to RICS School of Built Environment, he was associated with MIT Art, Design and Technology University, PCM Department as an assistant professor. He was the internal member in Board of Studies for MIT College of management. He was deputed as Planning In-charge in Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. for township project in Gurgaon, Harayana. During his tenure in Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. he has guided students from MIT Pune, NICMAR and other colleges in their internships, trainings, final year reports and journals at postgraduate level in the area of planning, quantity survey, billing and construction site management. He worked at Tata Projects Ltd as intern trainee for 09 months in a prestigious railway project of the country. Before taking break for Masters in Construction Management he has also worked in residential project in pune, accommodation and mess building project for single navy officers in Goa and repairs of Goa airport runways for Indian navy jets.

Research Interests:

His areas of interest are Construction Materials, Construction technology, Construction delay analysis and Sustainable Constructions.

He has published paper in International Journal on “Introduction of Light Weight Deflectometer”. He has secured 1st prize in Project Competition in Shivaji University during final year of graduation. He also represented Shivaji University at State Level Project Competition and secured 2nd prized in National Level Paper competition for “Green Buildings”.
