Our students recently participated in the Inter Amity Institutions Sports Meet - SANGATHAN 2014. Held annually, and spread over the duration of a month, the meet inspires the young students to push their boundaries and achieve admirable heights in the field of sports. This year, our students represented the school in Football, Handball, Athletics, Tug of War, Kabbadi, Shooting, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Basketball and Swimming and battled it out to showcase the spirit of the School of surging against all odds, with a focused and determined mind. The sports committee formed by a few RICS SBE students had preparatory discussions over past several weeks before the start of the sports events. Pictured here is the student committee that cheered and encouraged the participants throughout the event. Sameer Chauhan, student of MBA REUI (3rd semester) won a silver medal in 100 meters and 50 meters backstroke swimming competition. Yuvraj Singh, a student of the BBA REUI (3rd semester) also won a bronze medal in shooting (Air rifle peep sight). Sharing his experience of the meet, the Sports Captain of the School Shashank Vashisht said,"For me, being the Sports Captain of RICS SBE in Sangathan 2014 has been a great learning experience. It was also great to see this great a level of enthusiasm and the strong spirit of participation amongst students from so many different institutions.”.
