Ashwinder R. Singh

Vice Chairman & CEO, BCD GROUP

I build, scale, and advise institution-led businesses.

For over three decades across banking, capital markets, real estate, entrepreneurship, media, and policy, I have been guided by a simple belief:

Great businesses create wealth. Great institutions create legacy.

That philosophy has shaped my journey from global banking to founding and leading some of India’s most influential real estate platforms.

Today, I serve as Vice Chairman of BCD Group and Co-Founder of BCD Royale. I am Chairman of the CII Real Estate Committee, Advisor to NAR-India, and Chief Advisor (Real Estate) to Republic Media Network, contributing to industry dialogue, policy conversations, and the future direction of India’s real estate sector.

I have held leadership roles at Citibank, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Fullerton Singapore, and Bajaj Housing Finance before co-founding IndiaHomes, one of India’s earliest PropTech platforms, ANAROCK, and BCD Royale. I was also a co-founder of Fullerton Securities, Singapore’s wealth management business in India.

I actively advice founders, startup leadership teams, and growth-stage companies on go-to-market strategy, scale, fundraising, leadership, partnerships, and institutional growth. My current engagements include Chief Advisor to BitSave, India’s leading crypto AMC platform, and Nestara, a profitable fintech mortgage marketplace. I am a mentor on Earth Fund, a PropTech-focused investment platform backed by Brigade Group and Gruhas (Nikhil Kamath), as well as India Accelerator and IIT Bombay E-Cell. I also advise select pan-India real estate promoters on growth and new project launches.

I am a frequent keynote speaker on real estate, capital, entrepreneurship, leadership, and India’s growth story. I am also a two-time Real Estate Person of the Year and a three-time bestselling author on Indian residential and commercial real estate.

One question has stayed with me:

What truly endures after titles, transactions, and success have passed?

The answer is rarely capital alone.

It is character, culture, and values that continue long after founders are gone.

I learnt this from my late father—a decorated 1971 war hero who later laid down his life serving India on a peacekeeping mission in Cambodia.

Leadership is never about status.

It is about responsibility.

Clarity in thought.
Courage in action.
Simplicity in character.
