Shekhar Nagargoje is a real estate professional and academician having experience in real estate analytics, techno economic feasibility studies, highest and best land use studies, business development and real estate advisory services. He has also taught in leading architecture and project management institutes in Pune with urban planning, smart cities, real estate property valuation, project appraisal, corporate real estate management, real estate investments and entrepreneurship as his core subjects. He has been invited as a domain expert and guest faculty at prominent institutions in India and abroad.
He has completed his graduation in Civil Engineering, and a post-graduation in Planning with a specialisation in Housing from School of Planning, Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad.
Shekhar Nagargoje is a founder director of Planmax, a research and advisory firm which offers consultancy and advisory on project feasibility and real estate investment analysis.  He is Vice President- Research & Analytics on the board of Banyan resources, an asset development and management firm. He was a faculty with National Institute of Construction Management and Research in the School of Projects, Real Estate and Infrastructure Management, Pune. He has worked in land advisory team for K Raheja Corp, Mumbai where he was actively involved in financial feasibility, business development and market research activities for Inorbit Malls, a leading Shopping centre development company, covering over 25 cities across India and has analyzed over 200 land parcels pan India. He has also headed the research and advisory division of IL&FS property management services ltd., for the western region.  He was the CEO and was heading company operations for Nandan Buildcon for their project Nandan Prospera at Pune.
Research Interests:
Shekhar Nagargoje has done extensive research on urban resilience, smart cities, techno economic feasibility studies and valuation. He has published research papers and case studies in many international journals and conferences. His research paper on best practices for Indian smart cities is part of Scopus indexed book chapter edited at National University of Singapore for IGI Publications.

Shekhar Nagargoje is a gold medallist from CEPT University, Ahmedabad he was also conferred upon teaching excellence award at National Institute of Construction Management and Research for two consecutive years. He was invited by Confederation of Indian Industries as expert panellist on Smart cities forum, he also has been on various International panel discussions. He was awarded for his contribution in training students in development and analytics at Guangzhou University, China. Shekhar is also a reviewer of International Journal of Construction Management, Taylor and Francis group. His research paper and case studies has been conferred as Merit paper award and Best case award at International conferences.
