Collaborative discussion with the University of Shri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka

The RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University Mumbai, hosted a collaborative discussion with the University of Shri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, on 22nd September 2025, focusing on advancing academic exchange.

The programme was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. A. W. Santhosh Kumar, senior officials, Prof. Dr. Prathap and his delegation from the University of Shri Jayewardenepura, Mr. Ashwani Awasthi, Managing Director of RICS South Asia, and Prof. Dr. Sanjay Govind Patil PhD, MRICS, Director of the RICS School of Built Environment, Mumbai campus.

Key areas of discussion included student and faculty exchange, capacity-building through workshops and seminars, joint PhD supervision, collaborative research, and consultancy initiatives.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to strengthening global academic networks, fostering peer learning and cross-cultural engagement, and contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
