RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University Mumbai, recently hosted a Workshop on Valuation of Plant and Machinery.
The session was led by Mr. Siddharth Thite, Director, Thite Valuers, who shared valuable insights on valuation principles, industry practices, and future trends. Students experienced a unique blend of classroom learning, real-world case studies, and a site visit, making the workshop highly immersive.
We were also delighted to welcome delegates from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, who joined our students and faculty for this enriching knowledge exchange.
Key highlights included discussions on valuation methodologies, depreciation, obsolescence, compliance, ethics, and professional judgment. The workshop truly showcased the strength of industry–academia collaboration, aligning with SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
