Connecting classroom learning with real-world infrastructure practice 🌆A guest lecture titled “Managing Urban Infrastructure Projects Across the Project Life Cycle: Practical Insights from the Field” was recently organized for MBA CPM/CEQS students.The RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, was pleased to host Mr. Nitin Singla, CEO, Leapdraft Advisory, who shared valuable insights from his extensive professional experience in managing complex urban infrastructure projects. The session provided students with a practical understanding of how infrastructure projects evolve through the project life cycle, from planning and design to execution and delivery.Through real-world examples and field-based experiences, Mr. Singla highlighted the challenges of coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing project risks, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of large-scale infrastructure developments. His insights enabled students to better understand the practical dimensions of project management beyond theoretical frameworks.Such industry interactions continue to strengthen the industry–academia connection and equip our students with the knowledge and perspective required to excel in the built environment sector.
