RICS Accredited Course:

Our BBA & MBA degrees are the only RICS accredited courses available in India right now. It makes these specialized degrees more valuable for the students and relevant for the industry as well. It also ensures that only talented resources move into the industry. Course accreditation relies on experienced RICS academics and employers assessing each university’s programme to ensure there is both an appropriate curriculum and the resources in place to enable the delivery of the programme to meet the high standards demanded by RICS.

Each university is visited every few years by RICS auditors. The RICS external quality assurance system monitors the standards of graduates annually and each programme is monitored annually through an annual report. Each accredited course in an educational institution is expected to meet five quality principles:

  • Student selection
  • Research and innovation
  • Teaching quality
  • Curriculum
  • Graduate output

The accreditation process is highly valued by universities. RICS aims to ensure that graduates have a stimulating and challenging education, which prepares them well for their professional careers.

There are two main types of RICS qualifications – Associate (AssocRICS) and Chartered (MRICS): Associate is the entry-level RICS qualification and offers the chance to progress to full chartered status. Chartered is the most common way to qualify as most people already have surveying-related qualifications and work experience. To qualify as an Associate or Chartered member, you will have to pass a series of assessments. RICS involves members updating their knowledge and ability during their working life through ongoing professional growth.

  • Associate members may use "AssocRICS" after their names.
  • Professional Members may use "MRICS" after their names
  • Fellows may use "FRICS" after their names.
  • Honorary members may use “HonRICS” after their names.
  • RICS accredited degrees are recognized by Government of India and abroad. No equivalent degree, this degree is globally accepted!
  • Access to global network and lifelong learning through CPD (Continuous Professional Development). Student discount on RICS events.
  • Receive separate globally recognized certificate from RICS.

Entities holding the skilled MRICS or FRICS designation are credited to use the professional title designation "Chartered Surveyor" depending on their selected specialist qualifications and field of proficiency.
