Sanjay Govind Patil is a result-oriented professional with 21 years of rich & extensive experience in academics, research & consultancy, strategic planning, curriculum development, academic administration, quality assurance and enhancement with added industry experience in project planning & management, cost planning & budgeting, cost control, resource deployment & site administration. He is a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from NIT, Surathkal, India. 

His research interest involves Construction Engineering and Management, Sustainability, Coastal Engineering & Artificial Intelligence. He published several papers in these areas in reputed international journals & conferences & his works are cited by several researchers around the globe. 
Presently, he is associated with RICS SBE Amity University Mumbai as Director & Head of Institution. He is thoroughly acquainted with various educational systems & frameworks & developed & implemented post/undergraduate programmes in compliance with international accreditation bodies such as PMI, CIOB, RICS & ABET.

He is also instrumental in getting programmes accredited by these accreditation bodies. 
He is a Board of Studies member for the reputed deemed Indian Universities in Maharashtra and Karnataka, thus providing guidance and suggestions on curriculum development. 

He developed & delivered several customised short-term training programmes amounting to 1600 Hrs. in areas of Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management to reputed organisations in India and Abroad. 
He successfully mentored, completed, and currently working on consultancy and funded research projects in industrial waste management, sustainability, and construction project management worth INR 20.5 million. In 2016 a research project mentored by him was conferred with Best Research Award by The Research Council Oman. He is also the recipient of the Best Teacher Award for the recognition of the inspirational teaching and mentoring role in developing students and graduates to prepare them well for professional life.

He is a reviewer for intentional journals published by Elsevier, Taylor and Francis & ACI. He is recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer by Elsevier. 
He juried for the most coveted awards for the architecture and building industry such as Construction Week India Awards and ‘Construction World Architect & Builder Awards'. 

He is also a panel member of the Doctoral Thesis Assessment Committee in the Department of Applied Mechanics & Hydraulics, at NIT, Surathkal, India. Presently he is guiding 7 PhD research scholars at RICS SBE.
