I am a civil engineer by background and being in the built environment industry has always been the dream. It gives a tremendous feeling when you are the driving force behind things - Be it on-site operations/facility management/leasing/valuations etc. So getting into Built Environment was a natural choice.

Any advice to students considering joining RICS SBE?
Getting into RICS is a privilege, not many have it. If you have the opportunity, grab it, work on it and shine! Cheers.

How did the MBA program at RICS SBE help you?
The best change I feel RICS has given to me as an individual - Confidence and being fearless. Majority of the credit goes to SLING (Student body of RICS). I joined as an associate member of Logistics vertical (the backbone of each event) and eventually ended up heading the same. With time it helped me from learning the work at grassroots level & managing the team of 7 and choosing a proper strategy for handover the baton to the junior batch. The 2 years with SLING have bolstered my confidence.
 

How was life at RICS SBE? (Campus, faculty, activities, events)
Life at RICS SBE was Amazing.

Share experiences from work life.
I get exposure to good learning. Even though it gets tiring sometimes but it is worth it.

What was your experience while studying at RICS SBE?
The experience at RICS is something that can't be described in words but putting pen to paper - RICS offers holistic development of an individual provided the person is interested in the same. Ample opportunities are given - Academic and extracurricular activities to sharpen oneself with proper guidance from the faculties.

What were you doing before coming to RICS SBE?
I completed my bachelor’s in civil engineering before joining RICS for MBA

Where did you get placed?
I am currently working with Knight Frank, Bangalore - International Business vertical

Where did you intern? How did the internship help you?
I interned with Colliers International, Gurgaon - Valuations & Consulting vertical

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I probably see myself cracking good deals - Importantly having achieved MRICS will be the first step
