Our faculty presents research papers at the 23rd ERES Annual Conference

Our professors Ashish Gupta, Shipra Goel & Saurabh Verma represented the School and the Indian real estate at ERES conference held at the UNESCO World Heritage City Regensburg, Germany.

The international event was attended by over 400 eminent scholars and researchers from over 50 countries from Asia, Europe, America, South America and Australia. Our faculty not only got an opportunity to attend and present at the event but also to interact with RICS President Mr. Martin Brühl, along with many other dignitaries.

The 23rd annual conference took place at the IREBS International Real Estate Business School, University of Regensburg, Germany during 8 to 11 June 2016. The conference which is the leading real estate research meeting in Europe and is one of the largest property related conferences worldwide brought together researchers and decision-makers from both academia and practice from around the world, in a welcoming and intellectually stimulating environment.
The aim of the conference was to foster an intensive exchange between academia and industry. In addition to the numerous excellent academic presentations, it served as a brilliant networking platform via the social programs organized in the conference.

At the conference, attendants not only exchanged their views with respect to the research needs, but also discussed the best ways of using research outcomes to scale. Apart from outstanding academic and industry representation, leading associations from both academia and practice, including ARGUS, MSCI, INREV, IRES, RICS, TEGoVa were also present.

More than 250 research papers were presented and discussed, concerning themes such as

Our faculty presented their abstracts on the following themes:

The papers were appreciated by the audiences and especially by researchers from Africa who made a special mention about the findings of our staff which could be very useful for their country in future. The next ERES 24th Annual Conference 2017 will be held at Delft, Netherlands.
