The Government will allocate approximately Rs 1 lakh crore to various welfare schemes and ministries. Out of this, Rs 50,000 crore will be allocated to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and the remaining Rs 53,400 crore will be allocated to various welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Smart Cities Mission, which aims to promote smart tech infrastructure, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) with Rs 2,300 crore and Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) with Rs 9,900 crore where both aim for a clean India by improving sanitation and public health in rural and urban areas.
