Adverse impact of the pandemic The schools and colleges were closed much before the country was put under a social lockdown, bringing the education sector to a standstill. For most, the disruption has come in the last quarter of the academic calendar leading to postponed exams, curtailed syllabi, exploration of possibility of online examinations etc. This break has come at a critical juncture for all those students who are on a threshold e.g., classes 10th and 12th, final semester of graduation and post-graduation courses. Those who are set to enter their careers with a job need to complete their academics to meet the statutory requirements. For now, some tech-enabled institutes right from KG level to PG level have shifted to electronic mode of delivery of content.
