The second year of MBA placements at RICS SBE has set many new records. It began with an impressive placement week (16-23 Nov 2015) which set the ground for the rest of the placements.

Some of the major highlights of this year's placements are as follows:

• 29% of the batch has been placed in the Middle East

A concerted institutional effort has gone into making second batch of placements even better than that of the first batch. The academic team with faculty and placement coordinators conducted a series of focused activities to sharpen students' technical knowledge and skills. This included regular soft skills training, one-to-one guidance, site visits, expert talks on specific subjects, full day placement clinics and workshop followed by mock interviews, etc.

Raja Subramanya K MBA CPM

Placed in Laing O Rourke, Dubai at INR 18.2 lakhs

The placement season began from the pre placement workshops itself. The best part was getting a chance to clear my doubts about my career choices by being able to interact with the experts from FM, Marketing and Finance and also the mock interviews which helped a lot in being pre-prepared for the final interview.
Akanksha Rastogi MBA REUI

Placed in Mahindra Lifespace Developers at INR 7 lakhs

My job role in CBRE is associate in Valuation. In order to perform the valuation process for a building, the most ideal method would be modified cost approach with the returns measured. My QS skills could help me achieve an accurate cost of land acquisition, construction and maintenance.
Majety Sai Vivek Dutt MBA CEQS

Placed in CBRE at INR 6.83 lakhs

Colliers were in search of a right person in Chennai for more than a year. When they saw me working over there (during internship), they felt I would be the right person to handle the things since the Chennai market is not easy to handle by outsiders. The skills and knowledge developed in RICS SBE made them to choose me for Chennai.
