Mohd. Shafeek Civil Engineer MBA REUI 2016-18 Placed with Duff & Phelps in Valuations
Shafeek was fascinated by the tall structures and one day, wanted to be a part of building them. He joined Anna University, Chennai to pursue civil engineering and went on to work in Arijith Property Developers for 2 years. There he worked on site execution and later, in sales team. As Shafeek wanted to move up the ladder and enter into a management role, he joined RICS SBE to pursue MBA in Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure. During his post-graduation, he interned at Duff & Phelps, a global valuation and corporate finance advisor where he was part of evaluation department and worked on IBC cases subjected to evaluation. Later on, Shafeek was selected in Duff & Phelps who came for campus placement for the first time for valuation. Talking about his positive attributes, Shafeek mentions that he has advantage of having all around knowledge of what’s happening in a project from base to top and that has helped him a lot in shaping his career path. Shafeek is already working towards achieving MRICS chartered qualification. Shafeek also looks forward to playing a major role at Duff & Phelps.
