Growing up, Sailee wanted to be a lot of things. But one thing she was sure of is that she did not want a run-of-the-mill 9-5 desk job. She even dabbled with architectural liaison and design. Then she decided to pursue an MBA degree to give a career a boost. Eventually she made up her mind to study architecture.

Her experience with RICS SBE has been tremendously insightful. During her journey, she has discovered a whole new side to her that she never knew existed. She now feels more equipped and confident about her capabilities.

She talks of faculty members that is made up of industry-professionals, who have tremendous knowledge and working experience. During her course here she has realised that the syllabus and the way it has been inculcated has been extremely relevant to the current market trends, both nationally and internationally.

She gained international exposure by interning with JLL, Dubai. As an Assistant Analyst, with a strategic consulting vertical, she got an opportunity to deep dive into the inner workings of the vertical. The best part for her was the exposure to work in an international market, alongside an international property consultancy, functioning within a developed market.

She is currently placed with Sotheby’s International Realty. Her profile includes Business Development, Marketing and Luxury Sales. The reason she chose this opportunity is because it provides her with a very niche platform and this would have a significant impact on her career. Besides this is a lesser explored market and she wants to try her hand at it.
