STP Site Visit at Amity University Noida | Wastewater Treatment & Sustainable Infrastructure Learning

From Wastewater to Resource ♻️ | STP Site Visit – Amity Campus

Turning theory into treatment—our BBA (Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure) students recently explored the operational backbone of sustainable campus infrastructure through a technical visit to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Amity University, Noida. The facility is professionally managed by Enhanced Wapp Systems, ensuring efficient wastewater processing and responsible reuse across the campus. Their expert Mr. Deepanshu (https://www.linkedin.com/in/debater/) for an insightful and highly engaging walkthrough. Students gained first-hand exposure to:

* End-to-end treatment cycle – from screening to tertiary treatment

* Aeration dynamics and biological processing

* Sludge management and compliance protocols

* Automation, monitoring & O&M best practices

* Treated water reuse for sustainable campus operations

What stood out was the interactive discussion on real-world operational challenges and performance optimization—bringing environmental infrastructure concepts to life. Experiential learning like this strengthens systems thinking and prepares future real estate professionals to design, manage, and advocate for resilient and resource-efficient built environments.
